Vote on the DAO
This guide covers voting with sdTokens on underlying protocol governance and voting with veSDT on Stake DAO governance.
Voting with sdTokens
sdToken holders can participate in governance of the underlying protocol through vote replication. For example, sdCRV holders vote on Curve proposals, and the Liquid Locker casts votes proportionally.
Finding Proposals
- Navigate to Meta Governance on the Stake DAO app
- Browse active proposals from all protocols with Liquid Lockers
- Use filters to show specific spaces (e.g., sdbal.eth for Balancer proposals)
The page displays your voting power across all Liquid Lockers.
Casting Your Vote
- Select an active proposal to view details
- Review the proposal description and options
- Allocate your vote weight to each option (for multi-choice proposals)
- Click Vote and sign the transaction
Once the replicated proposal closes, the Liquid Locker votes on the underlying protocol according to sdToken holder preferences.
Voting with veSDT or vlSDT
veSDT and vlSDT holders participate in Stake DAO governance through protocol governance.
SDT Governance
Vote on Stake DAO protocol proposals.
- Navigate to SDT Governance
- Browse active proposals
- Select a proposal and cast your vote
Both veSDT and vlSDT provide voting power:
- vlSDT: Flat 1:1 voting power with staked SDT
- veSDT: Decaying voting power based on remaining lock duration
